Privacy
RoseS2 is a small app run by Benjie. It’s in beta. This page says, in plain words, what it keeps about you and why.
What RoseS2 stores
- Your account: your name, email address, a securely hashed password (never readable, not even by us), your time zone and your settings (theme, nudges, heads-ups).
- What you create: cards and their checklists, notes, dates and amounts; comments; fridge notes; check-in answers; cheers and pokes; and when you opened a card.
- Notifications: if you turn them on, a delivery ID for your phone’s browser, so nudges can reach it.
- Technical logs: our providers keep short-lived logs such as IP addresses and sign-in times, to run and protect the service.
Who can see it
- You.
- Your partner, once you pair: everything on Together cards, your fridge notes and check-in answers (after they answer too), and the titles of private cards you give them a heads-up on. Private cards are otherwise hidden from them.
- Benjie, who runs RoseS2, can technically access the database to keep it working and help with problems. During the beta, that’s the only reason it’s looked at.
- Nobody else. No ads, no selling or sharing your data, and no tracking cookies.
Services RoseS2 uses
- Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in (servers in the United States).
- Vercel hosts the app, and counts page visits with Vercel Web Analytics: which pages are opened, roughly where from (country, device type, the site that linked here). It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you. Addresses are cleaned first, so no card or link details are sent.
- Resend sends the account emails (confirm your email, reset your password).
- Your phone’s notification service (Google for Android/Chrome, Apple for iPhone) delivers nudges if you turn them on.
Cookies and storage
Only what the app needs: a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in, and a few settings saved on your phone (like light or dark mode). No advertising or tracking cookies.
Usage numbers
To improve RoseS2, Benjie looks at totals only, like how many cards were finished this week or how many couples are paired. These are counted from the app’s own data and never include what anyone wrote.
Your choices
- Change what your partner sees on each card, archive or delete cards and notes, turn notifications off, or unpair at any time (every shared card goes back to whoever made it).
- To get a copy of your data or have your account and data deleted, email bdr189@gmail.com.
